Health care in the United States is deplorable! The United States falls far behind other countries in terms of both infant mortality and longevity. There are several reasons for this.

The primary reason is that the medical profession has adopted an invasive approach; doctors are trained to prescribe powerful drugs or to perform surgery; they are not trained to prevent illness. Doctors receive virtually no training in nutrition or in preventive methods. There is a bias within conventional medicine against the use of nutritionals for healing.

We do not get everything we need from our food. In fact, unless a person grows all of his or her food, it is virtually impossible for anyone today to receive all the nutrients he or she needs from food alone. There is really no such thing any longer as a well-balanced diet.

The fact is that our food today is measurably less nutritious than it was a few decades ago. Although the food looks good in the grocery stores, it is really depleted of nutrients from poor soil, chemical additives, storage, processing, and other factors.

Effective nutritionals, used in the right combinations, can balance the functions of the body so that the body will then keep itself in a state of perfect health. Nutritionals themselves do not heal, but, when the body is being fed all the nutrients it needs, it has the ability to heal itself of many illnesses.

The body was designed to keep itself well - to heal itself, but for many reasons (stated above), that is very difficult today.

Most people today do not know what really good health is. We have lived for so long in a condition where our bodies are under nourished and in a constant state of borderline health that few of us even know what really good health means or feels like!

A good example of this is the high percentage of people who are overweight. One explanation for the high incidence of obesity is that people are eating more and more because they are craving nutrients that they are simply not getting in their food. To make up for the lack, they eat more and more. I personally believe that this is the true explanation. The reason I believe it, is that I lost 16 lbs. of unwanted fat in less than 2 months once I added the right nutritionals to my diet! Just by eating the correct nutritionals and without dieting, I attained my correct body weight!

Nutritional science has made great advancements in the past 20 years. There have been a number of major discoveries! Many people are discovering today that they can find total or near total relief from such things as allergies, asthma, arthritis and joint stiffness, heart disease, chronic fatigue, psoriasis, immune difficiencies, hemorrhoids, colitis, diverticulitis, carpal tunnel, osteoporosis, diabetes, prostate problems, etc., etc., - just to name a few.
